Her individual approach ensures you can adapt the sessions to your own pace; positions are always clearly explained and exercises are regularly refreshed.
Mariann is a particularly cheerful teacher, with a very positive attitude that I felt was so beneficial for me. As a result I was finally exercising regularly for the first time in years! I felt very energised, much stronger and more relaxed as I recovered from the impacts of my second pregnancy. I strongly recommend her as a teacher whatever your Pilates level is!

Mariann is a Stott Pilates certified mat work instructor. She had suffered from chronic back pain and bad posture as a teenager until she found Pilates at the age of 19 and have become 'addicted' to this mindful approach to safe exercise what challenges both body and mind.
She decided to take the step to become an instructor herself and have been continuously training with Stott Pilates school in Hungary and in London since 2010. In addition to her foundational Stott Intensive Mat course for essential and intermediate level and YMCA Anatomy and Physiology training she has also trained to teach Pregnancy & Post Natal Exercise through YMCA fit, completed her ZENGA foundation course for neuromyofascial movement and Stott ISP Injuries & Special Populations training to adopt exercise for older people and to teach Rehabilitation and Back Care programmes for those who suffer from various injuries. She has been keen to enhance her knowledge about specific conditions and latest research and is training this year to become a Reformer Pilates instructor.

'Pilates has taught me how to evolve harmoniously in my body without risking injuries and I am passionate about giving the same experience to everyone attending my classes. On my sessions I adopt each exercise for the individual's goals, fitness level and posture to bring about the best results for the person. My focus is not only to correct old, wrong movement patterns and body alignment by certain exercises but also to relate these movements to your daily life and increase your overall body awareness.'
